Being totally new to online dating, these profiles are tough - like job interviews really. You know you have all the qualities they are looking for, but you keep forgetting to write them on your resume or bring them up in the interview. Anyway, here goes:

I am someone with strong values, who believes in integrity, honesty, respect and trustworthiness among others. Friends and family are extremely important to me. But I'm also a lot of fun and can be totally spontaneous and have a good time. I enjoy being active, whether it be skiing, tennis, golf, swimming, etc. but I also enjoy watching sports, especially the Canucks. I've got a great life with great friends, but I've never been comfortable in the bar of club scene. I'm a quiet guy, but can be very outgoing at the same time. I've got a great sense of humour and love to make people laugh whenever I can.

I'm looking for someone who enjoys laughing and having a good time, but would rather play sports than go and get drunk. I'm definitely not your average guy. I've got a lot of interests that always keep me busy, like that third novel of mine I'm writing that I never seem to get around to very much because I'm always playing the piano, chatting with friends on MSN, or figuring out how best to advance my career now that I got my Business Administration Degree from SFU.
I'm an extremely nice guy, but I'm not like those other nice guys who just buy you stuff and act like giant teddy bears. I'm my own person, with my own viewpoints and ideas, and so I won't develop a case of conformity syndrome that seems to be going around these days. (you know the types, who will basically do whatever you want, will make you decide everything, and take zero control in the relationship)
