It's Just Lunch, the most sought-after dating service for busy professionals with over hundred locations worldwide, conducts a survey on 2,350 singles and discovers that fifty-two percent of dating singles haven’t been to a holiday party because they didn't want to go alone. The dating experts at It's Just Lunch have come up with the following Guide to Holidating to help you being successful in the New Year.

Gift Giving Tips
•Diamonds are a girl's best friend. The finding says 21% of dating women says it's never too early to receive diamonds. Ladies might be lucky this year since 11% of dating men agree it's never too early to give diamonds.

•It's never too early to start thinking about gifts for your better half. 45% of dating women begin shopping for their better half 2 months before Christmas. 52% of dating men confess to be waiting until a few weeks before Christmas to begin shopping for a gift.

Don’t you worry if the gift is a fiasco since most dating singles will be nice about it anyways. 59% say if they received a gift from their significant other they didn't like, they would pretend they loved the gift anyway. And you'll never find the gift put in the back of a closet since 45% of singles confess to regifting.

•How much should you splurge on gifts this year? 54% of dating singles think to spend $500 to $1,000 on gifts this holiday season.

•Avoid an embarrassing situation by being prepared. 59% of dating singles say when it comes to gift giving is receiving a gift from someone; their biggest worry is not about having a gift to give them in return. Get rid of this problem by keeping a bottle of wine on hand at all times during the holidays.

 

Holiday Party Tips
•Your boss wants to set you up with their son or daughter, how should you react? 21% of dating singles would avoid an embarrassing situation by telling their boss they are meeting someone, even though that may be far from the truth. Another 26% would agree with them.

•Should you give your boss a gift?
66% of dating singles surveyed say they are not buying their boss a gift. Those that are buying their boss a gift think a bottle of wine is the most suitable, followed by a restaurant gift certificate.

•How can you make sure you'll have a date for New Year's Eve? 67% of dating singles say that if they had to choose, they would like to have a date for New Year's Eve than for a holiday party. Going to every party you're invited to means you'll be meeting more dating singles, greatly improving your chances that you'll meet someone great to spend New Year's Eve with.

66% of dating singles think they would to be invited to 4 holiday parties this year, but only 57% will go to all of them. Don't miss your opportunity to meet the right person. Take advantage of all every opportunity to meet someone new this holiday season.
